So, when you get a new trail cam and it occurs to you it would be prudent to set the cam up in the living room (Adjacent to the kitchen) for a week or so to make sure it works properly,before hiking it into the woods...

I don't have any trailcams (and husband doesn't hunt), but would be terrified to set up any cams in the house for just that reason.

Not to imply your wife is menopausal, but when I'm home alone, and a hot flash comes up...welp...been there, done that!

By the way, hot bacon splatter is an excellent way to cool off during a hot flash.
