Funny. And that is why my huchi mamma stays in the camper. Thanks for the video. Young bucks like me can learn a lot from things like this.

LOL X10.. Cracked me up. I'm not so sure it's a hoochie mama but some kind of bite and blow call that got the boot? Shows you what the big guy thinks about cow calls in general; if I remember right, he's all about using just bull sounds when in the heat of battle. Great VID.

LOL. I guess that's one way to ask someone not to cow call. I bugle in 90% of the bulls but I still carry a cow call for those times when that's the only sound they want to hear.

If you havent listened to it, he has an interview over on bowsite.
Pretty funny and im not sure why someone would feel like they would need to call if they had him as a caller. Haha, to each their own I guess
When bulls are bugling the same distance away from you that dogs are barking, I think they are fired up. Talk about a fun hunt

It is funny I suppose, but it is elitism. I don't use a Hoochie Mama, but it makes cow and calf sounds. Put in the right hands, it can get the job done. Put in the wrong hands it is no worse than any other.

Hoochie Mama? What Hoochie Mama? That was an open reed call. Pretty funny response to the guy going ad-lib on the guide's calling strategy.

I am not sure how you determined the cow calling was ad-lib? If it was, maybe the guide should have said something.

Perhaps I watched a different video? Seemed pretty damn irate that cow call was made given the threat of bashing his head and tossing the call.

Jmo but the hoochie momma is a great call. Is it the first call I use? No, not second, third, fourth, fifth either. In fact I haven't used a hoochie momma in a few years. But, I took my ten year old daughter hunting last year with my wife and I and with some very simple instruction she was able to get 20 yards or so from me and when I gave her the okay she would call. It gave her something so that she could be a part of the hunt. For beginners or old timers alike it can be used just in an effective manner just like most of the calls out there if used at the right time.

Another great thing about it is it is easy to pick out so you know its a hunter.

Really? Does anyone think that was remotely a serious threat? If that was a real threat being communicated, no one in their right mind would continue to hunt and camp with someone that volatile? I don't think the person that lost his call really felt threatened. Just watching his demeanor after the incident. Danny was just being himself.
