I just wanted to send a shout out too all the cool dudes on this form. I had a great hunt experience this season. Had some great encounters, and saw some real big bulls...I never had an opportunity to draw back, and wanted my buddy to get his chance first. We had our chances, but I really enjoyed calling in elk, it was awesome. I logged in over 70 miles and attacked as hard as I could. More Importantly, I learned a ton about Elk Talk... wow they truly are awesome to hear!

I agree Dr. You can have fun here, learn a lot, and don't have to put up with a lot of attitude. I am sure you will have many more great elk experiences hunting as you continue to apply what you read and see here. Best wishes.

I agree. I've been on a lot sites but I haven't been on one with more insight and very little confrontation.
Sounds like you had a great hunt with some great memories.
Something I always tell my kids is its not always about killing if it was they would call it killing not hunting.
