heading to Colorado tomorrow morning. 8 months of prep I feel has paid of thus far in that I feel confident and like I have done everything I can do to prepare.

Will be hunting solo this week then my buddy is joining me in the back country the final week. I did go ahead and purchase the Delomre Inreach, already feel like that was a good purchase. thanks Brendan for the tip.
My uncle who lives up where i am hunting in South Central Colorado said colors are just turning and peak rut is just around the corner.

If dad's surgery goes well I will be leaving out around 10 pm Tuesday night. Lot of nerves for different reasons.
