Corner starch works pretty good but grass is cheaper.

I bought some micro balloons and filled up some small squeeze bottles.

I also refill my windicator bottles' with corn starch...grass works fine but the white powder being in the air gives you a longer view of what the wind is doing. Elk Berries....lol Great advice Phantom!

I open milkweed pods and put the silky insides in a small bottle and let a tiny bit go into the air, you can watch it float for about 30 yard's, amazing what the wind does in that distance.

refillable pump nasal spray bottle. fine mist and can refill from your water bottle.

I refilled my wind indicator bottle with baking soda last week. It worked just as well as whatever was in the bottle when I bought it.

Grouse down feather suspended from my top limb by about 1 1/2 inches of string. Also I re-fill my puff bottle with lifting chalk, which works well and is cheap.

While hunting from a tree stand, I have used tiny bits of TP. With a good breeze, it traveled 40-50 yards.

I drill a small hole in the top of my bow quiver and stuff a couple of cotton balls under the hole. Then replace the foam and you are all set. Just pull a little piece of cotton out and let it drift away. I also have a piece of white sewing thread tied to my bowstring.
