hunter orange

I read the Idaho regs, many times even looked at the rules on line! During modern fire arm elk season are you required to wear hunter orange while hunting? Would you recommend wearing it anyway? I can become pretty invisible when I'm out hunting, but don't wear blacks or brown, all camo.
If you can't find me, I'm not lost. I'm hunting!

From what I've read it's not required, it's recommended but not required.

LSG, even if not "required" I would highly recommend you wear it during boom stick season. You don't have to wear solid orange but perhaps you can find a vest or jacket with a blaze orange pattern. I've heard of more than one tragedy where a rifle hunter (or any weapon hunter) has fired a round at movement or what they thought was a big game animal without making sure of their target and beyond. Safety first!

I have vest that I've washed with UV killer but still bright orange to the human eye only, I always wash all my hunting clothes like this, and I can move undetected by the elk, I guess I'm like a archery hunter but with a rifle! Thank you I'll wear it.
