Going scouting tonight and tomorrow.
Trailer is all loaded except for fresh food, and ice in the coolers. The bow is still hanging in the barn so I can practice until we head for camp Thursday

We are headed to Idaho on the 30th. Hope to be hunting on the 31st if the trip goes as planned.

1st heat...on your marks! Get Set.....

Funny how a group of elk hunters hunts in shifts. The opening guys are all ready and chomping at the bit. Us Peak Rutters are jealous, but we know we aren't far away. The gun hunters are just hoping the bow hunters don't shoot the bull they were planning on shooting.

Then there are some folks that just hunt the whole dang fall (looking at you Elknut!). Pretty much everyone is jealous of them!
