Really smelly boots

After a very wet weekend of hunting our boots stink to high heaven! Anybody out there have a remedy for boots that get really raunchy as soon as they get wet?

I put powder in mine and it knocks the smell down but I'm interested to see what others do on this topic

I use the scent eliminator spray and swapped the insoles for wool ones which seem to help. I think happy feet is the brand.

Some insoles are the problem. I clean the insole, sometimes in the wash if they begin to have an odor .
Ive had a few pairs of insoles , one set was from Cabelas brand boots that never had any odor I placed those insoles in a number of boots. Think of wearing a silver thread type socks or at least wash in nano silver laundry soap.

Generally the odor is from bacteria that grows in some synthetic materials. Remember those early days of Polar tech long underwear, wow that stuff was rank after a few hours

Get leather boots. Plastic stinks.

fill em up and cover em in some deer corn for a day or two, worked for me.

Ozone. If you have any kind of ozone generator, ozonics, water fire damage ozone generator etc it will kill bacteria dry and continue to deodorize for several usues. As somebdody else said corn and rice pulls moisture out thus decreasing fungal odors. Dryer sheets help with a that too. Antifungal foot powders will help too. Last resort new boots
