How are you carrying your rangefinder?

Just curious on how all you fellow elk hunters' are carrying around your rangefinders'...for the last 2 seasons' I have used the range snap, which I have attached to my binocular harness. The range snap is a nice little product and I do not have any complaints' about it, but I sometimes' feel that I am accumulating too much equipment on my chest area with my binoculars, rangefinder and hydration hose all being in a fairly close proximity of each other...even though it has never been a problem, I do not prefer to have this much equipment on my chest area for the purposes' of drawing my bow. I would prefer to carry my binoculars' in my pack, where I can still access them easily, although I have not done this due to the fact of needing to have my binocular harness on with the range snap because I value having my rangefinder in a location that I can access it quickly and with ease of movement in a hurry. I just purchased a retractable rangefinder tether from Nikon and although I have not had much time to mess with it, I do like it so far...was just curious on what most of you guys' are doing and if you have found another system that has worked for you.

I carry mine in the FHF rangefinder pouch that attaches to the strap on my bino harness. I really like this system.

I got a range snap a few years ago as well. That system works fairly well, but I don't like how elastic the straps on the harness were. Binocs were always bouncing around. So I just got an S4 harness and like that much better, but now am wondering what I'll do with the rangefinder. Probably just dump it in a cargo pocket, but I did look at some tethers online the other day. I still have an OTC elk tag to buy, so my allowance for new crap is pretty diminished.

I received my Nikon tether in the mail the other day and I think that it is a good cheap investment for $15, after a couple sessions' of shooting with it, I am pretty pleased with it. It does not make enough noise to be an issue, it has a strong enough clip on it that I do not see it accidentally falling off and although the rangefinder moves around a little bit, I do not believe it is enough to cause me any problems' or concerns'. Will most likely be the way that I will be carrying my rangefinder this fall.
