The Longest Wait

After calling for a couple of minutes I climbed into my tree stand to wait out the afternoon and evening. About two hours later, here they come. It is a good bull bunch. The first two came directly to the water hole, stopped, and looked around. I could tell they had been bedded above and were now looking for the intruder they heard earlier. The second and larger of the two took an arrow through the boiler room for his trouble.
Two hours is the longest time I have waited after calling, and had elk come in to where I had bugled. Can an anyone beat that for length of time? If not, what was your longest successful waiting time?

Since I have only been elk hunting for 2 years', I do not have a lot of these type encounters to compare to, but my bull came in last year approximately 30 minutes after my last calling sequence.

Last year I waited 9 hours for a bull that was bedded in a wooded revine. Finally at sunset it came out at 300 yards and I double lunged it.

Well I spent 17 days before season watching a huge bull,.. and wolves got him.
It took me and hour and 1/2 to get down to ne bull and 2 hours to get to a herd

3 years. Oh wait I haven't got one yet
