Hmm, gotta change my September plans a bit.

Never figured I'd draw in WA with only 4 points so I didn't even check. Received the permit in the mail today. I didn't even plan on hunting WA this year but instead, spending three quality weeks in the spud state. Guess I'll look at hunting the WA permit spot for 4 or 5 days, take a reload day, they head to ID on the 14th/15th. Two bull year perhaps?

Congratulations on the Washington quality draw tag. I unexpectedly drew an Oregon November buck tag. I bought mine right away and got the tag in my pocket, fearing they might change their mind. Where did your draw a tag for?

Quality or standard?

I drew multi-season with only 3 points, but can't use it this year. What a waste!

Quality elk. Doesn't look likes bad elk unit. We'll see. How does your multi season work?

RJ, the multi-season is great: Any weapon, any season, and general unit on either side of the state. It costs an extra $180 (same as the non-resident Idaho tag, for those of us who pay full freight :D ). It usually takes 5 or 6 points to draw, but I got lucky with just 3. Can't use it, however, this year. Too bad.

Amazing that you drew Quality Bull with just 4 points. Maybe get 2 bulls this year after all!

I hear you loudly, clearly. You are not the only one in that situation.
