Six Eagle scouts,.. Just a bit proud!!

Big day Saturday morning. Our Scouting Unit has thirty one scouts. Saturday an Eagle court was held for six of our young men. The veterans came and recognized the boys. Both of the Vet representatives congratulated us on have 6 at once and such an entertaining "court". Maybe the quickest 2 hours of my week.

No young man earns the honor of Eagle Scout by quitting. And none earn it without mentoring. Congratulations to these outstanding young men, and ditto to the mentors that guided all 6 over the top. That is how you change the world.

I am from a big Scouting family. 2 Scoutmasters (myself, my father). 5 Eagle Scouts - two sons, myself, 2 brothers. Scouting has been one of the most important and enjoyable aspects of my life.
