I read the other thread with movie quotes and I realized how few movies I have watched compared to the average person. One of these days I'll start watching some on a regular basis. What are your favorite movies?

For me, I love Stand by Me and my favorite comedy is probably My Cousin Vinny. What's on your lists?

Dancing with Wolfs, I am not a person that likes to watch the same movie again, but I have seen this one many times.

I'll have to check out Dances with Wolves. I have heard of it but never seen it. Some of those others I have never even heard of. I have a portable DVD player in my cabin. I'll start making more use of it in hunting seasons. I watched the first season of Game of Thrones on DVD and have most of the Sopranos seasons. I'll have to add to my small collection for night time entertainment.

A couple others I liked were On Golden Pond and A River Runs a Through it. Both with human drama intertwind with trout fishing.

In general I'm just not a movie guy. I can wait until they make it to television usually although I did go see the Revenant. But even when I do see a good movie I'm good after watching it once or twice. I have to say though if I was flicking through the channels and nothing was on and I came across My Cousin Vinny I could watch that. Two utes. lmfao And Marissa Tomei... wow.

These days I mostly watch the reality shows that take place outdoors. Outdoors is my real bag so if I can't be outside I'll watch it on tv. If I could be outside all the time I wouldn't really need one..... except for hockey playoff season. Go Pens!

Since I tend toward historical movies, there's The Amistad, Lone Survivor, Band of Brothers mini series, American Sniper, and the soon to be released 13 Hours at Benghazi. Haven't seen the Revenant yet but intend too. Pancho Villa with Antonio Banderas was also good and based upon true circumstances.
