Get ready for Pink

I can understand the appeal to women as they search for non male clothing options. Truth be told aren't we all searching for the latest fashion, pattern, color, gimmick each year? My concern is that my eyes are trained to instictively recognize blaze orange. Will pink offer the same safety effect?

With some concern for sounding sexist I just have to shake my head on the logic here. I am sure florescent pink is fine. So are other florescent colors. Even florescent green shows up great, but is there a color we need for women? Is that supposed to get more women out in the hunting woods? The idea the women are not more involved in hunting, because they can't wear pink, sounds crazy to me.

If you are out in rifle season in Colorado, its blaze orange only. I, too, question the NEED for pink clothing just to get more females hunting. If a woman wants to hunt, I would think that the color of the clothing is not real high on the list.

Non issue for me

I think any high visibility clothing would be fine for me. Choose from 7 different colors for all I care.

I like the idea of a flourescent green, and have always thought that blaze orange camo should be acceptable.

Regarding the orange camo, I talked to a Colorado DOW guy and the reason they don't allow it is because colorblind hunters can't see it whereas they can see the non-camo versions as a solid spot. Apparently they have done some extensive testing on this. Deer and elk spot danger mainly by movement so camo isn't a necessity.
