VIAM Outdoors Ultra Lite Hunter Game Bags

OK, received a little box in the mail yesterday from VIAM Outdoors. Here's a brief review out of the box impression of the VO Game bags.

The VO Game Bags come in several different configurations (sizes, quantities, etc.). The VID is on the Ultra Lite Hunter game bags which contains four 16X33s, two 16X22s, and one 20X33 game bag. Should be plenty for my elk this fall . I touched on the G3 bags a bit also; they come in five sized ranging from 7.5X3.5" all the way up to 18.5X13" and will be a solid addition to my hunting pack system this fall.

GREAT REVIEW!!! Thank you very much for spreading the word, couple things I wanna share with everyone is that the 16x33 is capable of holding upwards of 50 lbs hanging from the draw cord, though like Rory said we don't recommend this it's fully capable of doing so. Also the companies name is 6 am outdoors, think Roman numerals.

I knew it was 6 AM Outdoors, I was just testing everyone . I'm gonna do some weight tests on the bags this summer and see how they do... I'm thinking that a hunter could put plenty of weight in the 16X33s, tie a para cord across the middle of the bag, fold the loaded bag in half, and hang it on a branch if desired. I'm all over these lightweight bags not only for their minimal weight, but, for the space saved in a day pack.

I want to know more about the quilts they have ? has anybody got one yet and what did they think?????

looks like foot box is done with Velcro in the picture ? can you do snaps ? how small do they compress?

Yes we do both options on our quilts. We have compressed the 30* quilt with velcro(black one in pic) into an 8L event stuff sack with plenty of room for the top to roll down. That stuff sack is 8 " length x 5 " width x 17"deep so with the extra I had to roll down, I bet you could use a 5L and get away with it...I will get you exact specs if you want when I get back to the office.
