Best place to look for used bows?

Besides Archery Talk, and Craigslist, or ebay, where do you guys recommend looking for used bows?

If you are talking for traditional try Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear. I know they just recently started to handle compound bows also so they may gave a few used for sale. I enjoy everytime I go to the the shop or the phone call with them. First class service all the way.

I've bought 5 of the last 6 bows on eBay. Only had a problem with one and it was taken care of.

If you know what you want and what is a fair price ebay can be good...

Try your local or area archery shop..they just might have what you need.

You know, pawn shops can also be a good spot as well.

I finally was able to get up to our camp to test out the bow. I got it sighted in and took about 60 shots. I was able to consistently hit a paper plate anywhere within 50 yards. The bow is really nice and shooting with a release really improved my accuracy. I'll keep practicing but I am confident that I could hit a deer (or elk) out to 50 yards right now under good conditions. I think the bow might be more accurate than my crossbow at longer ranges.

Funny you mention more accurate than crossbow. For me I am more confident shooting a bow to 50yrds than a rifle. Must be something about the back tension on your forward arm, and how you are positioned behind a bow that makes it more stable, at least for me. Talking free standing rifle shooting, not from a rest...
