Hey folks, just talked to Chad from Alpine Touch (Montana's Special Spice) and we're gonna do a free sponsor giveaway. Up for grabs is a 16 OZ Container of the All Purpose Seasoning (my personal favorite). This stuff is so good that our kitchen is never without it!

OK, here we go. All you have to do is do a quick post and say "I'm in". That's it. We'll run it for a few days and then I'll throw everybody's user handle/name in a hat and pull out the winner. Cool huh... OK, who's in?

'cause I already have some. I haven't used it yet but holy mackerel does it smell GOOD! I'm really picky about my seasonings. I smoke my own ribs and would put them up against any others in a contest. I have a couple secret go to seasonings that make the difference. I plan to smoke a few racks this week and give the Montana Special a try. That's saying something because I haven't changed my recipe in years. It takes all dang day to make ribs so I wouldn't risk it if the stuff didn't really grab me. I smelled it and was like wow! So I tasted a little and sure enough it made the cut for the next round of baby backs.

Good stuff. I really like the light smoky flavor. Made about 6 lbs of goose jerky too.
Weve used Alpine touch on deer, moose and goose., Hot Olive oil and a pat of butter thats given a chance to carmel a bit,.. Yummy
And the lemon pepper is the best on fish
