Postby WapitiTalk1 » 12 23, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Been working with Indian Summer on some WT Window Decal concepts. What do you folks think of this version? RJ

Like the concept. Might be better without the verbage on top for a bumper sticker.

I like it!

Other ideas, just thinking out loud: Bigger horn/arrows logo w color, red arrows? Not in love w the photo. What about emphasizing WTF for attention: Wapiti Talk Forum w WTF in color? Got the idea from the Welcome To Fruita sticker I posted in Campfire forum.

I always wanted a bumper sticker that said WTF.

My only other thought is to maybe make the arrows come to a higher steeper point so the "W" is more obvious. Now everyone knows what a wapiti is. Crazy I know but it's true.

From past printing experience I can tell you if you want them for outdoor applications make sure you get them on good vinyl with the proper ink from a company that is familiar with products like that.

Just my 2 cents, lose the pic and the arrows. Just make it larger and clearer. Keep it simple.
If I have to look at a decal for more than 5 seconds to try figuring out what the hell it says Im on to the next.

Cant wait to buy a couple. It will be nice to recognize and be recognized by other elknuts. Don't think the wife will let me put one on her car tho. Maybe the boss will let me put one on my patrol car he is a fellow elk hunter.

Rory, looks pretty good to me! I'm sure any design you end up with will look great. You can always alter it a bit on your future batches! (grin)

Thanks for the excellent input guys! I'm designing this as a window decal, not a bumper sticker (probably something like 2 1/2" tall by 9" wide). I'll work on some modifications soon and will let you know where I'm at with the design. Gotta check around next week for printing companies who'll make these up for me (on good quality, outdoor vinyl material). Thanks again and if you think of any other recommended adjustments, let me know!

I prefer the simpler version.
Is it possible to make the elk without the squareness of the pic?
And when can we get one!
