Postby javersa750 » 10 06, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Haven't heard if anyone has had succes in 54. Just looking for some ruff estimate how far in the elk are or how high up anyone is seeing them?

It's been a hot and dry fall, no snow yet. I've got a friend hunting 1st rifle. He says they're still up high.

Hunted GMU 54 for the first time during 1st rifle. We saw elk everyday, just couldn't get to them. My buddies couldn't handle the vertical terrain very well.
