Kudos to Elk River Guns

Postby oldnovice » 10 23, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Great group of guys! Took my broke Savage Axis to see if they could temporarily fix the stock so I could continue hunting. No-go on that but he gave me a great discount on doing the trigger mod. Regular price was around $35. He did it for the gun buyer price of $25. Got the pull down to an average of 3.5lbs and no slack! Feels great.

While I was there, they were also working on a handgun transfer but the buyer was new to Colorado and still had his out of state ID. They agreed to give him the local transfer fee and hold the gun until he got his CO Id. Saved him about $25 and waiting until he went back to his home state to complete the move.

They have a full gunsmithing service right out in front view. You could watch them work on your weapon if you wished.

Stop in and say hi if you are in the Steamboat Springs area.
