My buddy from work just got back from hunting down south near the NM/CO boarder and it was hot down there too. They got two bulls, but it was a very tough hunt to get those two. They have hunted the same spot for years and this year all the normal spots had no sign, they had to get a lot higher in elevation this year than normal.

This Sunday there was also a bit of snow between the Arapahoe Lake and Crater Lakes west of Rollinsville, the point of the post is unfortunately solidly correct. I have 8-10 customers each hunting season, and so few have not filled their tags. I wish CO Parks and Wildlife would push all the seasons back by two to three weeks.
