OK, I shot my first bull last week in my first day of hunting. I've had absolutely no luck at posting a picture along with my post. I've tried to make the file smaller and I'm not sure how much smaller I can go before you'll need a magnifying to view it. I really could use help in figuring out how to properly upload a file.

Congrats on the elk! Sorry-I can't help with the technical part of uploading a photo. I just went to the "upload photo" button after I typed in the report and it magically appeared with the preview and final posting.

1. Go to imgur.com
2. Click the blue 'upload images' button
3. Browse and upload photo
4. After image is uploaded. Click edit image, under the 'Image Options' section to the right. Resize photo, it must be below 800x800. Click apply. Then save.
5. Next. You will see a 'Share this Image' section, click more, and copy the gibberish text under the BBCode (Forums).
6. Do not alter anything at all what you copied, paste it directly into the forum post.
7. Good luck

Easier than imgur, go to picresize.com, then pull up your pic, choose "fit to screen 800 resolution" and hit done or whatever. Pretty damn user friendly.

Are you posting from a phone? If so, all you do is push the (+) sign next to the text box, and then click the picture that looks like a mountain. Simple
