Apparently I've been practicing my calling, watching online videos, and reading Bugle magazine...

Very cute. They sure are impressionable at that age.

My 3 yo boy is a certifiable elk nut. Talks of it frequently. Practices calling with me. Has his own bow and arrows. Whatever it is he thinks he sees . . . it becomes related to elk or elk hunting. Hummm. Wonder where he got it from? His calling leaves something to be desired though. However, when using a diaphragm, he called in a doe mule deer one day. We tried it a second time, and sure enough, he called one in within about one minute. She came running. Apparently he sounds like a mulie calf in distress. He's a lot better with the external reeds. ;)

The teens? Eh, they have no interest. I got my 19 yo to go out with me last year, but had to pull guilt trips to make father-son time happen. Oh well. Enjoy them while they are still cute.
