Bun Warmer

Any of you "seasoned" guys remember these? I was chewing on an idea to MT bike cart in a quasi back country lodge (shelter to get out of the sun/precipitation) for my early WA hunt. It's no fun just having sleeping tents for a week when you're soaking wet. I've got the lodge figured out (PVC pipe and a tarp) but was chewing on an idea for a relatively lightweight, DIY, wood burner. Was initially looking at modifying a 5 gallon metal pail to use as a stove but one of my retired Army buddies brought this in this morning. It just may work after I strip out the diesel hose parts (carb, regulator, etc.) for a little wood stove. Obviously, this thing would make "one" trip in this fall in the bike game cart and would take up permanent residence on the mountain (greased up for its long winter slumber). Anyone remember these? It's not set up all the way but if you've seen/used these before, you'll remember them. RJ

Ha, yah. In the diesel fuel mode, 60K BTUs. Probably not quite that hot with wood.
