Anybody ever use any of the Elk scents that are out there?

Ive used elk urine for coyote trapping,... does that count!!!!

I dont. I use to make trapping lures. Most scent/lure arouses suspicion and as far as I know cover or masking scents just add to the odor plume.

But I dont see anything wrong with priming-the-pump at specific locations maybe urine/musk or other herbivore urine and musk's to a location. If the area I hunt dries out I have a seep Ill dump some beaver castor and maybe a touch of skunk around the hole
I never wear or drag for deer or elk If I smell I want it to be like a sage brush

Here in NM its illeagal to use any scent as an attracant. they can only be used as cover scent, so that being said i have never used any of them.
