Arrow Flight_HELP!

My arrows seem to be dipping a couple inches to the left as I move to 40 yards and further. Never had this issue before. Not every shot does it. Proably 1 out of 3. Spin tested all my arrows and they are good.

Anyone have some recommendations on how to correct this? My first thought is I might be not holding my follow through long enough. When the arrow does dip left I can see it turn to the left right before impacting the target.

Not sure if maybe I need to alter my arrow spine or weight, or if this has 100% to do with my shooting form. Below is what I am shooting. Any advice or help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you bumped/dropped your Bow lately. It is possible it could be form but also you possibly could be getting fletching contact on your rest do you have a drop away?

Are you sure it isn't just 1 bad arrow? I'd go through each arrow individually and confirm it isn't your equipment. Either individually number your arrows and keep track of which one dips, or just shoot 1 arrow multiple times, then move to the next arrow.

If it is 1 or 2 problem arrows, try turning your nock 180 degrees. If it randomly does it with all your arrows, I'd start paying close attention to your form.

You might be a little weak in spine. It's hard to tell without knowing what bow you shoot. But if they previously shot well, I don't see why you would need to change them now.

I think it is my hand placement with my grip. Spent some time shooting over lunch and really focused on my grip. Arrows seemed to fly much more consistently straight. Had 1 out of 10 fly a couple inches left.
I can live with that. Tested all my arrows and there was never any pattern with one or two of them that flew left. they are all brand new arrows as well. I have them numbered so figured this had to be a form issue.

Hoping when I shoot tomorrow i get the same results. I was told to always look at your form first, then if that does not fix it check your equipment. Not sure where I got that advice, but think it helped.
Weird that all the sudden my form changed a bit. But think this happened because I took it for granted and was not paying attention to my grip each time I draw my bow back.

If you haven't already you might remove your grip, this will give a narrower profile in your hand. Helped me be more consistent.

i bet you're dropping the bow arm to catch a quick glance at the departing arrow. you anticipate the shot, so you actually drop the arm at the shot and change the impact.

i had to fix this by EXAGGERATING the followthru. i held my bow aimed until the arrow damn near smacked the target. solid two seconds minimum.

First place to start is to make sure you have no fletch contact. You can put lipstick on the edges of your vanes and then look for contact after you shoot. Out of every dozen arrows I buy there are always variances in how they fly. I number my arrows with marker on the fletch to determine if one or more are consistently "flyers". It may be an issue of spine or straightness. The insert may also not be square which you can remedy with a squaring tool.

Often times if I suddenly start shooting low-left its because I'm slightly collapsing form at release or dropping my bow arm. This shows up when I'm tired or taking too long to release. Another common cause is grabbing the riser at release to keep the bow from falling naturally after the shot. A good practice exercise is to get very close to the target and release the arrow with your eyes closed, focusing on holding your bow arm after the shot and literally letting the bow fall out of your hand ( make sure your wrist sling is properly adjusted. Your bow should slowly rotate forward in your hand after the shot. Having the proper stabilizer will help achieve this. Keep your hand open or just touch your thumb and pointer finger during the entire draw cycle and release. Don't close your hand on the riser. Shoot a blank target with no bullseye and just focus purely on form. Hope this helps.

sounds like a little to much thumb pressure to me causing you to torque the bow to the left.

I try to shoot open handed to avoid the thumb and fingers causing any unneeded pressure in the bow.
