Spike camp splurge

Is there anything that you bring to spike camp, or backpack in to camp,speaking of food,that has no right being in a spike camp.....or something that "just happened" to fall into your pack?
I need to keep this as a "spike camp" splurge,cause I already know from previous years on this site what you base camp folks eat......steak...lobster...etc.LOL.
My bro in law is a serious junk food junkie,and he would always shock the he// out of me what he would bring to camp,after we talked about cutting our food down to the very bare minimum.One of the things he would do to me,after stopping for lunch on the mtn.,and after I finished my tiny little bite size,one gulp candy bar,he would slowly pull out this ginormous huge foot long super size candy bar,that took up half his pack,and slowly eat the whole thing in front of me,and then proceed to tell me how stupid it is to bring bite size candy bars to lunch.
The one splurge that he would bring,however, that I do bring to camp every year,that has no reason being there, is first,a box of "chichen in a basket" crackers,next, a can of spray cheese,"cheese in a can" and then last but not least....smoked oysters.Cover the entire cracker in cheese,then an oyster,more cheese,then another cracker....yum!
Do you show self control here,or is there something that I should know about.....

When I hunt whitetails, sitting still for up to six hours, I like to take a tastykake glazed lemon pie! That is if, and that's a big "if" I have one, as the rest of the family loves them too.

I'll be bringing two bottles of beer for the 1st night at spike camp. I'll also be bringing a small flask with blackberry brandy in case we are successful. The brandy is a deer hunting tradition started years ago.

The oysters sound terrible - but I'm all in on the Cheese Whiz! I prefer mine on a Ritz cracker

I usually bring in some Crown Royal, not a lot, but it sure helps dull the aching feet at the end of the day.

usually for the first evening a steak sure hits the spot. i once packed 8 charcoal briquettes for it too.

Nothing wrong with Jack Black Rory, but a good 12yr old[or better] single malt is a thing of beauty with a good cigar. Since I don't set a spike camp the grill for a steak and double burner stove that can produce fried potatoes and sauteed mushrooms, along with a tossed salad sets the stage for the single malt later under the stars.
Elk hunt yes, suffer NO! Paul has an outhouse!

Not bad. Aberlour[12 or 16] or Glenmorangie Lasanta or Balvenie Doublewood are my mainstay. I also like Highland Park, one you should try since you like the Dalmore.

When I worked for an outfitter we actually hauled a 6 foot propane fridge/freezer 7.5 miles to camp on the back of a mule. Nothing better than ice cream in the back country!

Spike camps are way overrated.
