MT Bike Bow Carrier

Installed the new MT bike bow carrier last night. We'll see how this new setup does this fall for the gated roads on the WA hunt. Seems pretty functional, has soft but solid gripping characteristics for the bow, and as mounted, does not mess with the bike operation (shifting, braking, etc.).

Looks good, I use to use the older u shaped holders and just didn't get the clearance needed. Now I just through it over my pack frame and works great, but is always nice to get more weight off my back.

Yea where did you get it from because that is ingenious, I could use a nice bow holder too.

If this is your first setup like that FYI your bow may start to rotate down after the first few bumps, my partner and I both set our bows in cams down. Hit some bumps bow starts to role you stop fast to catch and momentum's won this day and I was left with a broke pos plastic stock quiver, and trying to make a splint with twigs and electrical tape. To my supprise it worked fine for the next 2.5 weeks of the season. My mounts aren't like yours, yours look better and have a much better handle bar mount.

Guys, it's a ATV Tek VFGH V-Grip Rider Handlebar Rack (designed for rifles and bows both). Picked it up on Amazon for around 30 bones w/free shipping. Chipick, that's a good copy on the potential rotating issue; I plan on tightening the U brackets down very well to the handdlebars and add xtra lock nuts behind the main nuts. It'll be solid by the time I actually mount up the bow and hit the elk roads.

I don't have the same style as you've got, but I had better success with the Cam down and quiver out. For me it reduced vibration that seemed to amplify a number of things. However, it does make things a bit backwards, but so far it has not been a problem.

I have one very similar to that on my 4 wheeler and mount the bow just like you and never had a problem.
