Montana...One Opening in Rifle Season

Postby Indian Summer » 02 25, 2015 •  [Post 1]

As many of you know I book hunts for only 2 outfitters. One in Wyoming and one in Montana. The one in Montana is my brother who owns Indian Summer Outfitters which I owned for 13 years. You can see reviews for that operation on Bowsite.

We mostly do bow hunts. Last year there were no gun hunters at all. This year we have one gun hunt on the schedule. Currently there is only 1pair of hunters in camp. So there's not a lot of pressure on the area and there won't be a bunch of competition that week.

I'd like to add one more hunter, or pair of hunters to that camp. It is the opening week of gun season and starts on October 24th. A 2 on 1 hunt is $3500, a 1 on 1 is $4500, and semi guided hunts are $2750 per hunter run from the same main camp and include all meals, a guide for the first day, and all packing services.

Licenses are guaranteed and the deadline for applications is March 15th. If anyone has any questions let me know either on here or via PM. My email is joe@headinwest.net if you prefer that.

Thanks!!!

Not a bad deal at all IS. I'm certain somebody will jump on the offer.

Are you sure about that?

83 views and not a question. But I have some people from who knows where asking about it. One from Bowsite too. Now that the Wyoming draw results are out hunters who weren't successful are scrambling for a hunt.

It's OK Joe, you'll get it filled! (grin) You can most likely X that 83 by ten, the site does not calculate non registered lurkers & there are thousands of them! (grin)

I know this would be a great hunt! If I didn't have plans for this fall, I would be sending Joe a message. He helped me find elk in an area without even knowing where it was!
Send him a message or give him a call, you wont be disappointed!

I'd jump on that myself....unfortunately it looks like I'm going to be having back surgery in the next month or so. Not sure I'd be recovered in time.

Chukar I could set you up with one of our hot air balloon hunts. Great views but the altitudes are slightly higher! Bow hunters need to practice shooting straight down from the top of tall buildings too.
