Nice mini movie to remind everyone what the foundation does, and, to get the elk hunting juices flowing Here's an elk trivia question I was gonna put on the next elk quiz: Can/do elk "bounce" like mule deer? The answer to that is in this short VID.

Great video. The bouncing gait of muleys is called stotting, probably evolved for moving through dense brush while getting a better look for predators. The ragg in this video seems to have stumbled (see what I did there?) upon a 4-feet-@-same-time gait for a moment, then he resumes trotting. I have never seen an elk do the stott like muleys. Any other eyewitness reports of elk stotting? As always, enthusiasm and gratitude to RMEF from long-time member.
