Elk Bed Question

Will elk generally bed down in the exact same areas month after month, depending on the season. unless something pushes them off that area? (i.e predators, hunters, etc)

There's nothing exact with elk! Elk can move around & even if in the same area they can & do choose certain spots to bed, they do not necessarily lay in the same bed habitually. Much can depend on the weather, hot sun, cloudy, cold temps, burns, etc. all this can have an effect on their respective bedding locations. We find elk will bed in particular areas every year just as they breed in certain areas every year. Find their general location, as a bowhunter hunting Sept-Oct we rely on their sounds to let us know their aprox bedding area!
