I've been around since the conception of this forum - just lurking in the shadows. I enjoy sponging information - the more the better.

Question - I heard that WY is reducing the NR allocated Elk tags? Is it true and if so, does anyone have any idea when. Thanks, Bob

Yes and no. There have been talks of them moving some of the "Regular" non-res General elk licenses to the "Special" category. So while there may be fewer of the less expensive tags available, they are not actually reducing the number of licenses.

Nice to see you poke your head out of the shadows man! Feel free to sponge away! That's why we're here. But I really do get a good feeling when guys like you chime in.

Wapiti Bob may chime in here too. He's a wealth of knowledge about what's shakin' in the Cowboy State.
