I see that some gmu's are limited draw during archery season. They gmu's that arent limited draw, are they otc tags or how does that work?

In a nutshell: The terms "limited" and OTC (over the counter) are exactly the opposite. Not only do you normally need points to have any chance of drawing a limited tag but you also have to apply in advance whereas you can buy an OTC license the day before you hunt.

Ok i think i understand you. If the unit im hunting isnt a limited draw then i can buy tag otc. So is otc tags cow only or can you get a bull tag or either sex tag?

You can get bull tags OTC in Colorado and Montana. They are valid in any unit that doesn't require a limited permit.

During archery most units OTC units have either an either sex tag or you can buy and some have an antler less tag. Some units you can buy both. Tags that are labeled as B tags allow you to have both. And I'm pretty sure you can get more than one B tag, but you can only buy one antlered or either sex tag regardless of unit.
