Late season boots

Looks like the group is putting in for 3rd season this year. I've never hunted that late before. I've only hunted in snow intermittently, and I'm thinking there is a chance we could have snow the entire hunt this year. Can someone recommend a good boot for hunting in the snow. I'm leaning toward Danners or Red Wings because they are made in the USA.

Sorel all the way if your in more then couple inches of snow. The lining can be removed at night to dry out and it has a ton of insulation properties. If there is only a dusting of snow I would go with a boot that has at least 1000 grams of insulate in it.

Yeah I would second Sorel's. Cabela's has a version that is similar I tried last year and they seem to be just as 'good'. I started using the hand warmer hot packs as well. My partner used them on cold days and after making fun of him for being soft the first day, I tried them the second and now use them in my pockets on the cold days. Nice to have warm hands.
