whoa. taking time off of exercise = pain and suffering.

wow.
so i took basically a month off of exercise during my extended Asia vacation. ate too much, drank too much, slept a lot, etc. i didnt really gain much weight, and i did manage to run 30 mins a day on this miniature track in Taiwan. well, i ran most days. not all of them. and every sightseeing venue seem to be at the top of some sketchy non OSHA approved stairway. we walked and climbed a lot!!

well, yesterday, i dug out my trail running shoes and hit the trail. the trail i could virtually run non-stop? i was a wheezy, mouth breathing fool!! hahah. i almost had to take a knee at the top of the hill!! OMG!! i am a weakling!

i am gonna hit it again and again, until i beat my body back into submission. i have a very arduous bow hunt coming up in a few weeks!! this is not going to be good. i still need to shoot my bow more!! not good.

i've been focused on hunting a lot and i recently feel that i am been neglecting my wife, taking her for granted. a Dec month long vacation was long overdue. we had a great time, and rekindled something. :) worth every bit of it, but darn it!! next time, i'll sacrifice the summer fishing season instead of fall/winter hunts.

In my youth, I subscribed to this slogan: "pain is the feeling of weakness leaving your body." Time for me to put the bike on a trackstand and peddle my big a$$ off in the house.
