Easton A/C/C Prohunter vs Gold Tip ProHunter ?

I thouhgt I'd throw this out there and get some opinons. I have two bow's that I use and want an ecellent arrow for both to hunt with. I have a Hoyt Carbon Spyder 30 and a Hoyt Carbon Spyder Turbo ZT. Both set at 72 lbs and my draw length is 28''. I have shot the Easton ACC for a few years now and really like it aside from the weight. the ACC weighs out at 433 grns. I have toyed around with switching to the Gold Tip Pro Hunter 7595 which would weigh in at 416 grns. KE comes out to be about the same with the weight/speed ratio. Obviously, i give up a little speed with the ACC and gain some with the GT.. Please share your thoughts.

Not sure if there is any right answer cohoythunter. It comes down to your preference on trajectory. I would go with the flatter shooting setup. That way if you guestimate yardage on a shot and you are a bit off you will most likely still be in the ball park. Another factor that will weigh heavily is which one shoots better out of your bow assuming the spine is correct.

I personally like the Gold Tip XT Hunters there tuff as hell and shoot good. Mine are 27.5" long and are weighing right at 396grns ...... It really comes down to what you prefer and what shoots good out of your bow.

Thank you guys for your input. I made a decision to go with the Easton A/C/C Prohunter's.. I get great arrow flight out of both of my bows, so I dont need to shoot 2 differenct arrows, this comes into play if I mess up one of my bows in the field, I just hike back to the truck and swap the quiver out and good to go agian. Arrow weight came in at 426 grns. 85.15 KE out of Spyder Turbo and 75 KE out of Spyder 30. I did a lot of research and only "con" I read about was the ACC's bending b/c of the alluminum inner shaft, but I have been using ACC's for years and never once bent one. Think that is only an issue with repeated 3D target shooting. The only thing I was potentially worried about was my FOC, but I fixed that by removing the arrow wraps, brought by FOC to 10.35%. I havent yet shot beyond 40 yrds, so we'll see how the arrow flight is out to 80yrds in the spring. Should be good though.

I've only shot GT arrows from the beginning. I lose them often, rarely break them. Even chasing quail in a rocky place my friends break way more than I do.
