New plan for 2015

Well every year i request the entire late whitetail season off, and just do my best to weasel some elk season off, knowing that it might not happen and I may have to work instead. This year I'm doing the unthinkable, I'm requesting the entire elk archery season off instead of the whitetail rut, and will just try my best to get the November deer season off. Enough close encounters with bulls this year, and after a lot of time learning these elk, I feel like my plan is solid, time to make it happen. Man I'll sure be bummed though if I don't get to hunt whitetails in November.

My prediction, is shooting your bull the 1st week and still have a few days for the whitetail.

Oh i know ill get some time to hunt whitetails, hell i may get one while elk hunting, its just yhe fact that i may not get the entire late rifle whitetail season off that is causing me some anxiety. Just shifting priorities a little this year, which is taking me out of my comfortable routine. May not be able to pass up a half dozen legal bucks this time around.
