wish me luck...

Postby RichM » 11 26, 2014 •  [Post 1]

This weekend I'll be in the woods on a cow rifle hunt in a flimsy cold tent with only a few friends and a campfire as company, away from the tv, internet, news papers, stressed out family and black Friday events.
...on second though I wish everyone else the best of luck.

Haha... really funny you dirty dog. Most of us have our 2014 elk hunts behind us. Best of luck to you.

I had to abandon the hunt. 12 hours in and my hunting buddy was informed of a death in the family. Not the way I wanted this thread to end.

Ouch, sorry you missed the hunt! I was in the South Park area of CO for the weekend, no snow on the valley floors, 50 degrees, windy. weird weather for the end of Nov. Saw a couple deer in "downtown" Buena Vista and a dozen cows @ 1st light on private property in good ol' unit 49.
