Not elk hunting but...

Postby Seminole » 11 25, 2014 •  [Post 1]

Well my Dad of 72 years young joined my brother and I in the woods this fall. I had to put down the bow, which for me, is difficult. We had a fantastic trip and my Dad and my brother both bagged two nice Mulies. We may not have many of these hunts left in the tank....;)

Hey Noah... we have a deer forum. Didn't you see that? Maybe that's why you didn't score too!

Kiddin bud. Couldn't resist. You know I love you man. ;)

MadDeerHunter sure has his act together! If I wasn't such a DIY kinda guy I might go there some day.

I'm DYING to kill a big mulie buck. Dying!!! My main obstacle is my elk hunting habit.

Oh ya Noah, very very nice my friend! Those are great bucks for sure, congrats to your brother & Dad!

It's true it's not the Deer Forum but as slow as things are these days (on all sites) I don't mind other big game critters show here, it's all good! (grin)

Indian Summer, me bad, I did not know about the deer forum. One Day you, Abe, and I again on the mountain chasing elk! Paul: I miss your camp fire. Best learning experience of my life! The Vortex Razor HD spotting scope was awesome!

One day buddy. I enjoyed your company. Abe is a great guy to hunt with too. That guy is a stud! But we both have plans for the next couple years so just stay in touch as always. I'll be checking into that elk unit to see if our plan is feasible.

And I have to agree with Paul... things are slow right now so there elk forum is fair game for anything. Heck, by the weekend I might posts some beagle and rabbit pics here!!! :D

Nice bucks :!:
