I'm toying with it on my video camera this year, hopefully I can make it work. Have been attempting to get a better hands free way of getting footage and not a big fan of the action cams unless the elk is under 20 yards.

Yes sir, mine got to ride around in a pouch on my pack last year. It got to see some beautifull elk country and hear some very lively conversations between myself and several male wapitis. This year, the clipshot will make it's presence known and support my Iphone as it snaps some downed elk shots.. I'm sure of it ;)

Combo set-up is compact & lightweight. (1.2 oz, or 36 grams)
The suction cup holds incredibly well when attached to clean, smooth, dry surfaces.

Got close to this one's relative. Well, it may have been, but it's bugle, with more notes that average, definitely stood out and was in nearly the same area. Maybe, this week, as things get more wound up, I'll have an updated story & photo to share.

Apparently based on the tv show Survivor Man, those are some sort of Sasquatch directional signs. Keep your eyes open.

Thanks for the Heads Up!
My observations led me to believe the wind was responsible.
However, I suppose they could serve as some sort of landmark.
I went by a different one last year scouting and took a photo, but didn't take time to get in the shot to more easily explain the size.
Went by it again this year with my hunting partner, and took another photo.

OK.
What I suggested to some in the past was to download the "Timer Cam Pro- Self Timer" - on the App Store.

However, my daughter told me last night that the new update for iPhone's and iPad's have a self timer built right into the camera feature.
So, this would be a better option.
I would suggest backing up any photo's you may have stored in case the update scrubs things clean.
Most times an update won't, but I would feel better suggesting it, just in case.

Let everyone else here know what you discover.

Thank You!

Not gun hunting next week Lyn??? You need to go hunting so you can take pics... it's your job!

That's a nice looking bull. I'd be out looking for him all the way until Thanksgiving. I like the opener... and the very last week.

Nicely done!

Last month I sold 11, 6 as a direct result of someone making a simple comment about it on a forum I never heard of.
I count on my customers to help others recognize that what I make is not a cheap gimmick, but something well made that really works.
From my experience, an unpaid evaluation of any product is priceless information that can make a difference.

Thank You so much for posting a photo of your success & giving me another great example to point to!

I get tickled pink when I see those pics. I won't lie... I feel a little smug knowing I brought together Lyn and his product and the people who decided to give it a try. That little gizmo is so small, light, and cheap but gives us the perfect pics that last a lifetime. I'm not sure how long I've had mine but I think I bought one of the first ones out there sitting at the cash register at Sportsman's Warehouse in Missoula. It's still ticking and it's been around 10 years.

Every time I see a pic of a bull or buck laying on the ground with no hunter in it I think man... that guy is sure missing the boat!

Thank You Joe for being such great support.

I have always put a value on what others say about what they have found to be useful about my little product.
When I decided to make these available to the public, my main goal was to offer Compact Quality to help make a difference in the field.
The lifetime warranty I offer may be old fashioned, but I like things that last.
So, the 10 year mark that you mentioned on the one you picked up at Missoula, I feel is a good start.

Thanks Phantom16.
Unfortunately, my 2nd shift crew hasn't changed that much since that photo was taken.
But, I intend to keep forging ahead, trying to make a difference, as we all do. : )
I hope your move back home goes well.

What is the current state of affairs with the elk and mulies up there in the Noxon/Bull River area these days? Not very good the last time I checked in.

Even when it is good, man alive that is some thick country! Killed my first bull up there though.

Unfortunately, things have worsened.
I would have never believed things could be effected to this degree within 5 years.

Damn. Phantom you need to let your wife read that post before she retires with a grumpy old elkless man! It's time for you to update that profile pic with a big dead bull.

Material costs have forced me to add $2, but I've always felt that High Quality is most important.
With nearly 10 years & counting on my own, I'm confident others will appreciate knowing that I continue to expect this out of everyone I sell.

CLIP-SHOT - $19.95 (Total weight 1 ounce, & will easily hold more than 1 pound.)

CLIP-SHOT + SMART-SHOT - $23.95 (Total weight 1.25 ounces, & will easily hold my daughter's iPhone 6 Plus.)

~ LIFETIME WARRANTY ~

Designed, Built, & Tested right here in NW MONTANA!

Here's a little example of my daughter's iPhone 6 plus in action during a little backyard campfire.
I just leaned a broken limb against my camp chair, and made an quick, easy connection with her CLIP-SHOT Combo.

I think I have a reputation for plugging your product Lyn. I recently got a few PMs over on Bowsite asking "Where can I find that gadget I remember you mentioning" Of course I sent them your way.

Thanks Joe.
Over the last couple weeks, I sold one to a fellow from Price, UT.
So this may well have been the reason.
My wife & I truly appreciate folks like you being willing to share what I make with others.

I've tried to get in touch with the folks at Bowsite, but have had no success.

Thanks Again!

Small world package just came today. Congratulations the clip shot is slick setup. I've always carried a tiny tripod with my camera but last antelope season I forgot to to check batteries yep dead as the antelope. Tried to use my cell phone but couldn't get it positioned right for a decent shot of me plus trophy. Held it out for selfie style picture yep looked stupid. It was hot and I had to give up before getting a single picture I was happy with. I actually pick this up to hook up to my cell phone attached to tripod leg for a second shot angle to film my buddy shooting a caribou in alaska. That little suction cup held my phone for a couple hours while I was testing it in the house. I'm defiantly picking up a couple for my buddies. This is a product every sportsman could use.

Before the Selfie Stick, I just connected my camera to something I already had.
