Seasoned Bull Taking His Time Herding Up

Here's a pic of an old timer we caught on trail cam this year (only had the cam out for 4 or 5 days) during the Gem state hunt. He only came around once and posed for a few photos in the middle of the night. He was by himself, just sniffing around this small opening by an old seep/wallow, checking for those "good" smells that would propel him into high gear. I betcha he took over a smaller bull's group of ladies within the next week or so

Got into them Gary but no shots in Idaho. Already planning a better strategy to hunt the areas next year. Plenty of bulls, just tough to hunt.

rory, the wind was my enemy. spent plenty of time silently stalking, with good wind, bulls that were raking nearby, just to have the wind change as I got close....
