What Time Do You Kill Your Elk

At what time of the day did you kill your last few or single elk?

Mine are always at 2:00 a.m. In my dreams.

I can't figure out why but I never hunt elk in my dreams. Bums me out. I hunted them twice. Both at the same place which was somewhere I have never seen. Really fresh sign and I smelled them but the dreams were short and I never saw an elk.

Other than that I've killed them at pretty much every hour of the day. Lots of factors.

always kill in the evening, right at dark....would much rather kill them in the morning, when you have plenty of daylight to deal with it....I don't know why I don't get any opportunities in the morning

Pretty much all day during archery. First thing in the morning is not my best. Usually 10am and after. gun hunting I have shot a bunch at first light.
