As promised, I am posting some pics from my hunt this year in the Valle Vidal. I want to give a big thank you to everyone that helped me out with information.

I was lucky enough to connect with this bull on the third evening of the hunt. We had been in the thick timber all afternoon with absolutely no bugling at all. We were heading back down the valley when this guy let out and we figured he was heading to the water. We had to sprint down to get setup and beat him there by about 15 seconds. Everything fell into place (for the first time ever) and I was able to take him at 58 yards. He made it about 75 yards before piling up. 6x7 and grossed 354 1/2". Thanks again to everyone for their advice and help in making my first elk hunt so incredible!
