My parents spent some time in the mtns in WY last weekend as a cold front pushed thru. Said they heard bugling in the mornings.

There was 2 small bulls bugling Wednesday night by a friends house here in N.M. They were with about 10 cows.

Yes they are. Not a whole lot but I got a bull and some cows to come in last night. One of the cows was broadside at 44 yards but I let her walk. I ended up calling. The same cow back in to 32 yards for my buddy. But she never turned broadside. The bull winded us and left.

We heard them last weekend while backpacking in the wilderness. It was the first time my son has ever heard a bugle so that was extra cool.

Spent two days up high in central Colorado. Saw four bulls. Didn't hear a single elk bugle. I did hear another Hunter and he bugled 79 times in twenty minutes. That might have something to do with why elk weren't bugling of course.

Bulls kept me awake Friday night. They bugled OK Saturday, herd bulls and singles with them. Singles on their own didn't bugle. Got charged by a 5x Sat when I was fumbling around trying to fold my montana decoy. Had that dumb decoy for years now and it finally worked. LOL
