With the recent SAT image updates in GE and GE fed on-line mapping sites (Acme mapper, Caltop, etc.), I noticed the oddest thing that wasn't there the last time I looked. There seems to be a whole bunch of tan things in this particular meadow. Hmm, perhaps I'll have to swing by there and check them out next week.

Its pretty obvious what those are. It's about 50 hunters scouting your location all dressed in FL dry earth taking an afternoon siesta.

I wish they'd (GE) update my area. It hasn't been changed since 10/16/2003

LOL, you may be right on the FL camo'ed hunters, but, they should know that dry earth pattern is not the best for the WA jungles; what are they thinking? Not sure how GE does their updates by area......several of the WA areas I spend time in were updated in the last month and a half or so. What's odd is that even though the update date stamp sais July 14, the images just changed in the past few days in the mapping systems.. go figure ?

Just checked my area for new updates and it's all new. Much better images too!
