Alternative Energy Snack/Bar for the Pack

Hey folks, getting tired of swamp mud tasting energy bars in your pack? I've been giving an alternative energy snack it's day in court this week and I really like them. Weighing in at 30g (1 OZ) and packing a respectabl 160 calories, a couple of these will be in my pack for each day's elk rations this year. They come in several flavors but I've only tried the Honey Stinger, Honey Waffle flavor.. Pretty dang good. May be something you wish to give a try.

I've had the strawberry and vanilla. They are pretty dang good. I just bought 16 of them yesterday for our upcoming hunt.

Box of Gingersnap was my choice. Haven't tried them yet.

I'm picking a few of these up this weekend. I've heard great things about them, ant at 160cal/oz, they fit into my 100/1 requirement to take in the pack. I don't mind the Cliff Bars, but I do like some variety up in the elkwoods.

The lemon and strawberry are the best! I have been using these for a couple seasons now. I love them!
