Colorado Antler Point Restrictions, whats legal?

The unit we will be hunting follows the Colorado 4 point rule as far as antler restrictions and we will have an either sex tag. A bull has to have at least 4 points (at least 1" long) on 1 side or a brow tine of at least 5 inches long, and I understand what is legal here but I am not 100% sure on spikes. It states that a cow is a female animal with no antlers or a young bull with "antlers" less than 5" long. So could someone please explain to me what is legal to shoot and how would I tag it?
#1. A spike with 10" spikes and no brow tines....legal or not? Because of the 10" spikes I would say not legal.
#2. A spike with 10" beams and 6" brow tines?.....legal or not? Because of the 6" brow tines I would say legal bull.
#3. A spike with 3" spikes and no brow tines.....legal or not? I would say legal, tagged as a cow.

I hope the one that steps out in range is a no brainer but I still want to know 100% for sure what is legal.

I would say you are spot on, other than the 3 inch spike is technically tagged as antlerless!

When you see spikes it will be clear. Most antlers are over 10 inches on the spikes and they will still be velvet. Any other points end up being just a bump. If you happen to shoot an antlerless bull it will probably be a calf with just a button for an antler. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, but this is generally what you will encounter.

Thanks for the info. I really have no desire to shoot a small bull like mentioned above, I would rather take a cow instead and let them grow up.
