Shout out to CTDAD!!!

Postby Hot Cow » 07 30, 2014 •  [Post 1]

For some of us guys out there that are lucky enough to me each other through this forum ---AWESOME
My partner and I have met with ctdad several times now and have learned a ton about elk and hunting them. We are both rookies and probably have gained years of knowledge from ctdad and this forum and I just wanted to say Thanks to all that share info and a huge THANKS to ctdad for helping us out.
I hope some of you guys have been able to do likewise.

Tim, that is what these forums are all about. It is great that you were able to also find someone that can transfer what you read here and apply it directly to your hunting situation. I know that sometimes making that connection can be difficult, especially for newer elk hunters. A tip of the hat to you and Ctdad.

Tim, Brian and I have gotten together a few times in the past few months. We tell hunting stories, talk elk, practice calling, shoot our bows and fantasize about September. It's been a blast. None of my local hunting friends are elk hunters. If you guys get the chance, you should get together with some local elknut hunters in your area. It is a fun time Only down side is it makes me wish I was hunting!

Hot cow (Tim) should get the shout out. He set it all up and was the organizer. Hope we can get together again soon.
