Backcountry PB Alternative?

Has anybody tried the PB2 powdered peanut butter? I normally throw in a Jiff to Go PB container when I'm feeling the urge for some PB spread on my bagel or MRE bread (with a bit of jelly or honey) for my mid day meal during a day hunt.

The PB2 packets look interesting. Re-constituted back to life with a few teaspoons of water. Has anybody tried these? What did you think of the taste? I see they come in a chocolate flavored PB also

I overdosed on PB when I was a kid,
One year my mom was given a few gallons of the USDA commodity peanut butter. We would sit down with our own number 11 can and eat it with a spoon.
I must have got my fill .
My wife and daughters eat a lot but I just never have the urge for peanut butter

Yup, I think it taste just fine! I only have the plastic jar though, and I use it mixed in with my oatmeal. Not sure It would be that great for hunting because of how few of calories you get from it. Just a thought on that.

Personally no, but I was just on a trip where a friend was trying something similar and he said it tasted exactly the same as regular PB. I'm looking forward to trying it myself.

Not like peanut butter at all. It tastes like peanuts. The texture is weird. None of that stuck to your mouth feel. Kinda salty.

Wife showed up with it on her own.
