Grizz on video

Well last week I was whining that I didn't get my grizz encounter on camera, problem solved. I did a little scouting for a fellow forum member, and he did me the favor of sending me into the heart of grizzly country
We found a lot of grizz tracks throughout our journey, but this morning we caught this guy on the other side of the ridge. I enjoy these encounters when they are not so close, but this was almost too far as the video/photo quality is not so good.

I am the one that sent elk.addict into the heart of Grizz country, and I am very thankful he was not dinner. I would have felt guilty about that.

Cool critters, but thats about as close as I'd like to be We've got a few kickin around Idaho too, haven't had a run in yet. Tons of respect for those grizz. Also a healthy dose of fear...
